ABOUT ME

Schneider K. Rancy is a Haitian-American writer from South Florida. He is the author of the poetry collections DREAMS OF DIASPORA (Finishing Line Press, 2023) and SELF-PORTRAIT IN HOSPITAL AS CAMUS (Diode Editions, 2023). His poetry has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and published in Callaloo, Columbia Journal, Apogee, Moko Magazine, Sargasso, and elsewhere. A graduate of Columbia University, he now lives and works in New York City. His debut novel, BEYOND THE BATHS OF STARS, is forthcoming from Amistad / HarperCollins November 3, 2026.

In his spare time, he is a surgeon.
