Schneider K. Rancy is a Haitian-American writer from South Florida. He is the author of the poetry collections DREAMS OF DIASPORA and SELF-PORTRAIT IN HOSPITAL AS CAMUS. His poetry has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and published in Callaloo, Columbia Journal, Apogee, Moko Magazine, Sargasso, and elsewhere. In his spare time, he is a surgeon. A graduate of Columbia University and previously based in New York, he now lives and works in San Francisco.
His debut novel, BEYOND THE BATHS OF STARS, is forthcoming from Amistad / HarperCollins November 3, 2026.
